Human Hell in Northern Myanmar































This project utilizes a blend of installation and animation, creating a mixed-media representation of the rampant telecommunications fraud syndicates in northern Myanmar. After analyzing its colonial history, political system, cultural background, and the drug economy, the installation uses reflections in double-sided mirrors to reveal the dual nature of fraud in northern Myanmar. One side portrays the audacity of criminal organizations, while the other side depicts the plight of victims behind the illegal network in northern Myanmar. It explores how moral beliefs under different cultural and social contexts influence individual and collective behavior, shedding light on social structures and power dynamics, and prompting contemplation on individual choices and responsibilities.
