Architecture, often overlooked as a catalyst, played a significant role in igniting the Syrian civil war. The architectural identity of a region not only molds community characteristics  but also dictates whether cohesiveness or fragmentation will prevail.  In Syria, societal division rooted in class, faith, and affluence have generated estrangement among individuals. Against this backdrop, the "The Future of Aleppo——Between 120°" project has emerged, presenting through animation a sustainable community concept rooted in economic collaboration and the respectful preservation of Syria's religious and cultural diversity. The initiative has chosen the Kafr Halab region in Aleppo, Syria, as its experimental zone based on data analysis, implementing the Between 120° pilot program. This endeavor focuses on upgrading the beekeeping industry as a starting point for reforming Syria's primary sector. The aim of this project is to erect a utopian-style community, endowing the Syrian people with new prospects for life, thereby diminishing their susceptibility to extremist ideologies.

Syria, shattered by the unrelenting ravages of war, remains ensnared in the irrevocable clutches of conflict. Countless Syrians have been bereft of hope, with some veering towards the perilous path of extremist terrorism, further fueling the ongoing strife. After enduring a dozen years of devastation, Syria is yearning for a beacon of utopian optimism. Perhaps, infusing hope into the Syrian populace constitutes the inaugural stride towards attaining lasting peace. The aim of this project is to erect a utopian-style community, endowing the Syrian people with new prospects for life, thereby diminishing their susceptibility to extremist ideologies.
